Welcome! My name is Kate Friday, and I am a photographer based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I began taking photos around 6 years ago, as an extension of my passion for birds and wildlife. These were my early subjects and are still my main focus, however I enjoy all kinds of photography, and having a camera in hand in most situations! My portfolio also includes landscapes, portraits, local events, music and theatre productions, and I have recently begun shooting Weddings. I have exhibited at local events, including the annual Photofest at the Old Kirk, Abernethy.
I live in Huntly with my husband Ed and flock of chickens, some of whom are happier posing for photos than others. I also work as a Musician, Teacher and Researcher.
